The Patented SMM Red Zone Collapsible Hangers (#7,757,996) are designed for any mine pulling pillars with a Mobile Roof Support System.  They are used after the last "break-through".  This will help eliminate and reduce compensation by keeping the miner from returning to the hanger to take out the cable.  The SMM Red Zone Collapsible Hangers stay in the roof plate and lets the cable drop upon cable retraction.



For crews to escape incase of emergency, we produce 2 Man to 20 Man
Safety Crewlines.  Available in Reflective rope.



For designating certain areas underground and to make areas highly visible such as motor areas, pump areas, equipment areas, and repair areas.  Performing suspension functions while highly visible.

SMM ROPEHANGERS

"Meets MSHA Requirements"

Patented in the United States, and Germany, our SMM Hangers are made to any desired length, to temporarily hang or suspend mine feeder cable, tubing, water lines, ventilation, etc. depending on the specific diameter. Our hangers are made from Flame Resistant and Non-Conductive 100% Polypropylene Rope (the orange stripe is our ID). We use galvanized heat-treated steel ‘S’ hooks for bending, not breaking. The two types of hooks are a 300 pound test (#2) and a 500 pound test (#3) – both hooks will fit in U. S. Standard Roof Plates. The SMM Hangers will not vibrate apart for they are self-locking and have a working load of 162 pounds/tensile strength of 900 pounds. The Standard Stocking size for the SMM Hanger is the SMM #8 or #13 Hanger (25 per bundle, 500 per box).  The following list are our popular sizes.
