BOONE SUPPLY HAS COME A LONG WAY Boone Supply Company, Sylvester, West Virginia, established in 1964 as a corporation, has been a community leader by functioning as a company store and mine supply for Big Mountain Coal Operations in Prenter and a hardware and mine supplier. Boone now leads the industry in the way underground coal mines suspend cable. Boone Supply provides the coal industry with the SMM Hanger, the SMM 7/8" Miner Rope, and the SMM Safety Directional Line. The SMM Hanger has three patents - a design patent D303493, a utility patent 5,871,193, and a German patent 35 753. The SMM 7/8" Miner Rope has a utility patent 5,970,697 and the SMM Safety Directional Line has been awarded with a utility patent 5,988,101. Compared to what is available, these products are better and safer. In addition, these products are the only ones of their type patented in the United States. Boone Supply Company strives to maintain, provide, and service their customers with quality and safe products. Before the SMM Hanger was invented, mines were unsafely hanging cables with tie-wire and/or plain molded wire hangers with thin insulation.
